The primary responsibilities of the Program Manager are to be the primary liaison to independent filmmakers, overseeing PIC’s application processes for funding initiatives and management of projects in the funded production pipeline. In addition, the Program Manager will support the Director of Program Development & Content Strategy (DPDCS) with securing distribution, delivering projects to distributors, engagement and outreach activities, training programs and other programmatic activities. The ideal candidate is detailed oriented, has experience with contract negotiations and compliance, project management, can track and manage various deadlines, is flexible, takes initiative and is proactive, has knowledge and/or experience of/with filmmaking and has excellent written and verbal communication skills. This is an arts management position, which does not involve hands-on production work.
