Navigating Cultural Survival Conference Funding - ATALM

To provide professional development training opportunities for people engaged in sustaining and advancing indigenous culture, the Institute of Museum and Library Services is providing scholarship funding for eligible applicants to attend the conference. It is anticipated a minimum of 100 scholarships will be awarded, pending confirmation of funding. Scholarships range from $325 to $1,000, with most averaging around $750. Scholarships are not intended to cover the full cost of attending the conference.

Eligible candidates include:

Staff members of tribal archives, libraries, museums, historic preservation offices, and language programs.

Staff members of non-tribal cultural institutions working directly with Indigenous collections.

Students enrolled in college-level library, museum, or archival programs. Must reside or work in the United States.
