I studied journalism in college while I worked part-time as a freelance photographer. I shot native jewelry, weddings, sporting events, and graduations. I traveled across the US/Mexico border to participate in a photography class focused on documenting the people of Mexico City. I worked for my universities bi-weekly paper, The Daily Lobo, and got published on Indian Country Today’s webpage for a story I shot while I was a Native American Journalist Association (NAJA) fellow in 2018 and will be again in 2019. Currently I work as a video technician at KNME-TV, NMPBS. Where I video edit a weekly segment, New Mexico In Focus, for the station.
