Satellite Maintenance Engineer

Nebraska Educational Telecommunications is seeking a Satellite Maintenance Engineer to perform installations, testing, maintenance, and preventive maintenance on various satellite transmitting and receiving equipment and systems.

Some examples of work include; performing installation, preventive maintenance, and repair on NET's and PBS's C-Band and Ku-Band fixed and temporary fixed (mobile) satellite equipment and systems (transmit and/or receive). This also includes work at the NET television and radio transmission sites. Assist in design and implementation of the computer controlled technical systems, procedures, reports and record keeping for the NET-NMCS (Network Management Control System).

REQUIREMENTS:  Post high school training in a technical discipline and experience in maintaining, trouble shooting, and repairing digital and analog electronic systems, C band, KU band, or microwave transmitters.
