Sun Kissed

Jocelyn Glatzer has directed, produced and edited social issue documentary films for the past 20 years. She produced My Country, My Country an Oscar®-nominated film by Laura Poitras about the first democratic elections in Iraq after the U.S.

Adi Lavy is an internationally recognized documentary photographer who has worked with publications such as Newsweek, SZ Wissen (Germany) and La Repubblica (Italy).

Maya Stark has directed and edited both fiction and nonfiction films. Born and raised in Israel, she moved to New York to pursue a career in filmmaking.

When Leanndra was born, Dorey and Yolanda Nez took their newborn daughter for a picnic  in the mountains near the family's home on the Navajo Reservation in New Mexico. On the outing, Leanndra received such a bad sunburn that her face swelled up, and her eyes temporarily sealed off. Leanndra was born with XP.
