Dolly Hall

Dolly Hall, named a "Producer to Watch" by Variety, began her producing career in 1990 and went on to Line Produce the 1993 Berlin Film Festival Golden Bear winner The Wedding Banquet, directed by Ang Lee. Dolly’s other producing credits include such award-winning films as Maria Maggenti’s The Incredibly True Adventure of Two Girls in Love, Scott Silver’s johns, Alex Sichel’s All Over Me, Tim Blake Nelson’s Eye of God, Lisa Cholodenko’s High Art, Mark Christopher’s 54, Sande Zeig’s The Girl, and Gary Winick’s Tadpole. In 1999, GreeneStreet Films tapped Hall to head its Digital Film Division. The first digital feature under DFDs banner, Lisa Picard is Famous, was directed by Griffin Dunne and produced by Mira Sorvino and Dolly Hall. It was an official selection of the 2000 Cannes International Film Festival and was theatrically released by First Look Films in the August 2001, to rave critical reviews. With writer/director Laurence Malkin, Hall developed the feature Five Fingers, which she produced in 2005. Five Fingers premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2006. The film stars Ryan Phillipe and Laurence Fishburne. Dolly is currently in production on Michael Walker’s feature film, Price Check, starring Parker Posey and Eric Mabius.
