Bios

Dan Schiedel

Schiedel is a 25-year Public Broadcasting veteran who has managed and produced for stations in South Dakota, Missouri, Wyoming, and Oklahoma. He has overseen the production of numerous award-winning documentaries such as Lakota Vision, Washakie: Last Chief of the Eastern Shoshone, Will Rogers & American Politics--an educational collaboration with Vision Maker Media, and many more. In May of 2006, Dan moved to Oklahoma and became the newly appointed General Manager of Rogers State University's public television station. After six successful years at RSU, Dan moved from Claremore to Oklahoma City and on November 5, 2012, assumed the role of Executive Director of the OETA Network.
