Alana Stone

Alana graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a bachelor's degree in history and ethnic studies with an emphasis in Great Plains Studies and Native American Studies. She served as a student worker at Vision Maker Media while attending college.
Alana grew up on the Rosebud Sioux Reservation in South Dakota until she was in fifth grade. After that she moved to Lincoln, Nebraska, where she attended school and graduated from Lincoln High.

"My interest in history and ethnic studies came originally from  a desire to become a teacher," Alana said. "In college I figured out I mostly just wanted to learn about the histories of my own culture as well as others."

Her hobbies include reading, eating and catching up on all the television shows and movies she hasn't been able to watch since starting college. Contact her at: astone@netad.unl.edu
